Under the care of our in-house technicians, the restoration was completed to ensure that all mechanical areas were inspected and repaired as needed. The engine and transmission were removed, the engine compartment was thoroughly cleaned, and the “bird cage” was repainted in the correct British Racing Green. While the engine was removed, it received a new water pump and all of the external seals were replaced. Once reinstalled, new hoses and belts were fitted, as was a new aluminum radiator with dual electric fans.
